Makelab stands behind the quality of our work. If parts don't meet specifications due to our error, we'll reprint them at no charge.
2. When We Reprint for Free
1. Manufacturing Defects
Print failures (layer shifts, delamination)
Material defects or contamination
Dimensional errors outside acceptable tolerance
Incorrect material or color
2. Our Errors
Wrong part shipped
Quantity errors (missing parts)
Finish or post-processing mistakes
Damage during our handling (before shipment)
3. Quality Issues
Parts that fail our QC but were shipped by mistake
Warping or structural problems due to process error
3. When Reprints Are NOT Covered
Design Issues:
File errors you approved
"At Risk" orders with known issues
Design flaws that prevent functionality
Parts that don't fit due to insufficient clearances in your design
Damage After Receipt:
User damage or mishandling
Modifications made to parts after delivery
Normal wear and tear from use
Specification Changes:
You ordered the wrong material or size
Changed requirements after production
4. Our Reprint Process
1. Report the Issue Within 7 Days
Submit support ticket with photos
Describe the problem clearly
Include order number
2. We Review and Respond Within 24 Hours
Assess whether it's covered under reprint policy
Request additional information if needed
3. Resolution
Covered: Rush reprint at no charge, expedited shipping
Not covered: Discounted reorder pricing offered
Partial issue: We may offer partial refund or credit
4. No Return Required
Keep the defective parts (no need to ship back)
Photos are sufficient for evaluation
5. Timeline for Reprints
Rush into production (typically 1-2 days)
Expedited shipping to minimize your downtime
