Upload your tax exemption or resale certificate to your account. Once we approve it, checkout stops adding sales tax. Until then, tax is still charged.
Upload your certificate
- Sign in at quote.makelab.com and open Account in the sidebar.
- Go to Documents & terms.
- Press Upload next to Sales tax exemption, or next to Resale certificate if you're buying to resell.
- Choose the file. We accept PDF, Word and image files.
The row shows With us for review while we check it.
Once it's approved
The row says We are not charging you sales tax, and checkout shows Tax (exempt) on every order you place from then on.
Already charged tax?
If you paid tax on an order before your certificate was approved, contact us with the order number and we'll look at it.
