Here is our address, what to expect when picking up an order, and how the building's security protocol works.
Our address
Makelab 13 42nd Street, Building A, Suite 502 Brooklyn, NY 11232
We are in the Bush Terminal complex in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Picking up an order
Bush Terminal is a multi-tenant industrial complex with controlled access. For your security and ours, all visitors are required to sign in at the building's front desk before going up to a suite. Here is what to do when you arrive:
On foot: walk to 13 42nd Street and go to the door under the bridge. That is the way into Building A.
Driving: come in through the security booth on 41st Street (it is for cars only) and let them know you are here to pick up an order from Makelab in Suite 502. Loop around and park in any open spot, then walk to the door under the bridge.
Everyone, on foot or driving: sign in at the Building A front desk, just inside the lobby. You will need a photo ID.
Bring your order confirmation, either a printout or the confirmation on your phone. This helps us match you to your parts quickly.
Go up to the 5th floor. Walk through the double doors and look for Suite 502 straight ahead.
If you would like to schedule your pickup in advance or have any questions about the building, please reach out using the chat on this page.
Hours
We are open Monday through Friday, 10am to 5:30pm. Pickups are available any time during those hours. Note that summer Friday hours are shortened to 10am to 1pm through Labor Day — see our Summer Fridays article for details.
Getting here
The Bush Terminal complex is in Sunset Park, accessible from the BQE, the Belt Parkway, and the D, N, and R subway lines (with a short walk from 36th Street).
