What are the different order statuses?

Each stage keeps you informed

Our order statuses are designed to keep you in the loop as your project moves through production. You can view your current order status at any time by logging into your Order Dashboard. Here's what each status means:

  • New
Your order has been placed and is awaiting review by the Makelab Production team.

  • On Hold
There are manufacturability concerns with your file. We’ll reach out for your input—options may include revising the file, approving the risk, or canceling the order.

  • Acknowledged Risk
Parts with potential quality or printability issues are printed using best efforts and are non-refundable. You must approve this before we proceed.

  • Confirmed
Your order passed review and is approved for production. A dispatch date is included in your confirmation email. At this stage, changes may require placing a new order.

  • Confirmed – Acknowledged Risk
After confirming risk with you, we’ve moved forward. The print may not meet standard tolerances or finish quality.

  • Updated Dispatch Date
We’ve run into an unexpected delay. A new dispatch date has been set and you’ll receive follow-up communication.

  • Dispatch
Your parts are complete and either out for shipment or available for pickup. Shipping orders receive tracking; local deliveries come with direct driver contact.

  • Canceled
The order was canceled—either by request or issue. Refunds typically post in 3–5 business days.

These statuses are always up to date on your dashboard. If anything is unclear, don’t hesitate to reach out.
