1. What is Support Material?
Support material is added to a 3D print when a feature extends with an overhang greater than 45 degrees. This temporary structure prevents parts of the model from sagging or collapsing during printing.
2. After Printing
After the print is complete, support material is easily removed, leaving a clean surface.
