Currently, Makelab does not offer public API access for automated ordering.
That said, if you're a high-volume or repeat customer, we can work with you to set up custom workflows that accomplish many of the same goals.
1. For High-Volume or Repeat Customers
While we don't have a self-service API, we can support automated workflows for established customers through custom integrations:
Direct file submission via SFTP or cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box)
Automated email-based ordering for repeat parts
Scheduled production runs with pre-approved specifications
Webhook notifications for order status updates
Who this is for:
Manufacturing partners with regular, repeating orders
Product companies with ongoing production needs
Distributors or resellers with high order volumes
Businesses with existing ERP/procurement systems
Requirements for custom integration:
Established account with order history
Predictable, repeating part specifications
Minimum commitment (typically 50+ parts/month)

2. Alternative: Bulk Upload & Batch Processing
For one-time large orders, we can accept:
Bulk file uploads via shared folders
CSV/spreadsheet-based order lists
Batch quoting for multiple parts
