Can you print transparent parts?

Last updated: 2026-04-09

Yes — Makelab can produce translucent parts using SLA resin.

While full optical clarity is not achievable directly off the printer, translucent resins allow for semi-clear parts. With polishing and coatings, surface clarity can become optically clear for light diffusion or presentation needs. This makes SLA resin suitable for prototypes where transparency or light transmission matters.
