What is the process like for your 3D Design & Scanning services?

Scoped, quoted, approved‚ then executed in phases

Our 3D Design & Scanning process is structured to ensure clarity, control, and precision from start to finish:

  1. Project Intake: You share your part, idea, or physical object‚ this can include sketches, reference images, or a sample unit to scan.

  2. Scope Definition: We assess complexity, define deliverables (CAD, mesh, scan data, etc.), and identify any manufacturability or tolerance requirements.

  3. Quote & Approval: We provide a fixed quote based on time, resources, and outputs. No work begins until you approve the estimate.

  4. Execution:

    • For Scanning: We scan the part using high-res equipment, clean up the mesh, and convert it into a usable format.

    • For Design: We create or modify CAD geometry, validate dimensions, and ensure it aligns with your intended use case‚ whether prototyping, functional testing, or production.

  5. Review & Revisions: We send proofs or draft models for your review. Basic revisions are included; major scope changes may require re-quoting.

  6. Final Delivery: You receive your files in agreed-upon formats (STEP, STL, IGES, etc.) ready for downstream use‚ whether printing with us or deploying into your own workflow.

The entire process is collaborative and transparent. We're here to make sure the end result matches your engineering intent.
