What happens if my file is rejected? [fix]

Last updated: 2026-05-25

If a file cannot be printed as submitted, Makelab will notify you with the reason for rejection.

Common causes include non-manifold geometry, unsupported wall thickness, or mesh errors. A rejected file does not enter production until it is corrected. Our team provides guidance on how to fix issues, and in many cases we can adjust the file internally for a fee.

👉 If your file is rejected and you’d like Makelab to help resolve it, submit the intake form with your file and request a correction review.
