Can you review my file to make sure it is okay to 3D print?

Yes, every file gets a manufacturability review

Absolutely. Every file submitted to Makelab goes through a manufacturability check before we print—this is included at no extra cost. Our team reviews your file for risks that could affect print quality or function, including:

  • Thin walls or fragile geometry

  • Non-manifold or broken meshes

  • Missing features or scaling errors

  • Unsupported overhangs (depending on material/technology)

  • Tolerance risks for mating parts

  • Geometry that could warp or deform during printing

  • Support structure placement and its effect on tolerances and surface finish

If we flag any concerns, we’ll pause your order and reach out. You’ll have the chance to revise the file, approve the risk, or request design assistance. This step ensures your parts are functional, dimensionally accurate, and production-ready.
